The Account Manager position is a dynamic role that will work with a range of clients on planning and executing media placement strategies and various marketing initiatives. The Account Manager must seamlessly move between efforts to keep our clients happy while fostering effective campaigns internally.
As the liaison between the client and our in-house digital and traditional media departments, this position requires a strong communicator both verbally and in writing. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable working on several projects at once, self-motivated, knows how to manage time well, and exudes a positive attitude!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain regular contact between agency and clients, including all necessary team members in communications.
- Meet regularly with design teams to coordinate creative needs and timelines.
- Maintain a client status report and regularly share client updates with team.
- Manage client meeting notes.
- Manage client budget sheets and work closely with supervisor to ensure accuracy during billing cycles.
- Deliver high-quality campaigns that are on-budget, on-time, and fall within agreed upon setup and guidelines – ensuring alignment with determined KPI’s and metrics.
- Assist with crafting overarching strategies.
- Assist with presenting, selling, and advocating for all agency work that is proposed to a client.
- Partner with internal departments to provide campaign reporting and feedback.
- Gain client approvals on setup, creative, copy, etc., pertaining to campaigns.
- Facilitate special projects that may include multiple third-party vendors.
- Participate in continued learning and industry education opportunities.
Requirements:
- Experience with planning paid media strategies including digital and traditional platforms. (Sponsorship, grassroots, and relationship marketing experience is a bonus.)
- 5+ years managing projects in the advertising/marketing industry.
- Client-service oriented with a team player attitude and the flexibility to manage evolving responsibilities.
- Extremely organized and willing to use processes.
- Strong communicator.
- Analytical and creative abilities along with strong time management skills.
- Solution oriented.
- Natural self-starter.
- Interest and excitement to take on a position that may shift and grow as the company evolves.
